Króm is a fashion store with handpicked selective items and carefully curated pieces of clothing, both vintage and new. Króm (www.krom.is), hereafter referred to as the "Website" or "Króm," is an online store operated by the owner Bjarki Steinn Gunnarsson (ID No. 200505-2710) and located at Laugavegur 3, 101 Reykjavík, 5th floor.

By placing your order, you agree to the terms set out below, so please read them carefully before proceeding with your purchase.

The Website provides its services to you subject to the following conditions. Before using the Website, you must read and accept all terms outlined in this Terms of Service (TOS) as well as the linked Privacy Policy. Use of any functionality of the Website constitutes acceptance of this TOS. If this TOS conflicts with any other documents, the TOS will control for the purposes of Website usage. TERMS OF SALE

OUR CONTRACT

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgment email confirming receipt. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract is only formed once you receive an email confirming the dispatch of your purchased goods.

PAYMENT AND SECURITY

Payments must be received in full before dispatch. Payments can be made using debit or credit cards through a secure payment gateway provided by Straumur (www.straumur.is). Króm does not store card details, and all transactions are encrypted for security.

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

The price of each product is as listed on the Website. Discounts and promotions are displayed along with original prices. Króm may offer discount codes for loyal customers, which are applied at checkout. Prices are in Icelandic Krona (ISK) and include VAT.

While we strive for accuracy, pricing errors may occur. If a pricing error is discovered after your order is placed, we will contact you to confirm the correct price or offer cancellation with a full refund.

CONDITION OF ITEMS

At Króm, we celebrate the charm and history woven into every vintage piece. Each item tells a story—some with perfect details, others with subtle marks of time that add to their uniqueness.

While we carefully inspect and curate our collection, it’s important to remember that vintage clothing has lived a previous life. You may notice gentle signs of wear, slight fading, or other small imperfections that reflect the garment’s journey. We believe these details only enhance the character of each piece.

We do our best to provide accurate descriptions and photos, so you know exactly what to expect. If an item has any notable wear, we’ll always mention it in the product description.

For new clothing, rest assured that these items are brand-new, unworn, and in pristine condition, just as you’d find in any modern boutique.

CANCELLATION AND RETURNS

Once an order has been confirmed and dispatched, a sales contract is formed under the Consumer Contracts Act No. 16/2016.

We hope you love your purchase, but if you need to cancel or return an item, follow these steps:

  • You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
  • Returns can be made in person or by post.
  • Email us at info@krom.is with your order number.
  • All returned items must be unworn, with tags attached, in their original packaging and condition.
  • Items that show signs of wear, damage, or alteration by the customer will not be eligible for a refund.
  • If the returned item does not meet our return conditions, we reserve the right to reject the return or offer a partial refund.
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs, and original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are processed within 14 business days after returned goods are received, inspected and evaluated from pictures and descriptions. If the return is rejected, we will notify you via email.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Króm maintains strict confidentiality regarding all customer information in compliance with Icelandic Act No. 90/2018 on Data Protection and Processing of Personal Data and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU 2016/679). Your data will only be used as necessary to complete transactions and provide customer service.

Króm does not share customer information with third parties. If you have subscribed to our mailing list, you may revoke your consent at any time, and your information will be promptly deleted.
